Hotmelt for automotive applications
Our hotmelt adhesive products for automotive applications can be used to bond diverse materials like plastics, composites, foams, and metals for interiors (headliners, trim) and components (filters, electronics), offering fast setting, high strength, durability, and low VOCs, with common types including Rubber-based, PSA, APAO, Polyolefin (PO), Polyamide (PA), and Polyurethane (PUR) for varied needs like high heat resistance or low-moisture sealing. Common Types & Uses:
- Polyamide (PA): Excellent heat, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength; ideal for filters, electronics potting (Low-Pressure Molding), and high-heat areas.
- Amorphous Poly-Alpha-Olefin (APAO): Bonds low-tension plastics like polyethylene.
- Polyurethane (PUR): Strong, flexible, weather-resistant, used for lamps, carpets, and exterior parts.
- Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA): For higher surface tension plastics, trims, and foam bonding.
- Polyolefin-based HMAs: Strong bonds for polyolefin plastics in automotive trim and sun visors.
VEHICLE SEATING.
We offer both PUR and PSA-Type hotmelt adhesive for car seating application. Our products are non-toxic and quick-setting, sustain load-bearing requirements, offer great temperature and weather resistance, and are affordable, ensuring both a safer work experience and a final product without the need for solvents or formaldehyde.
INTERIOR BONDINGS.
Our products and bond the substrates of automotive interior applications like foam, non-woven, wool, electric cord, ABS, sheet metal. Our glues can be applied to interior bonding, door panel, wire, trunk, mat, electronic part sealing/insulation/end fixation, and filling wrapping.
AUTOMOTIVE LAMP.
We offer both standard rubber-based HMA and hotmelt PUR for this application with good adhesion to general engineering plastic materials and glass, and excellent high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance and heat aging resistance, ensuing tightness to not allowing moisture to enter the interior of the headlight.
MATS AND ORNAMENTS.
Good cohesion, cold resistance, aging resistance, 80°C tolerable, long open time. Workable for fabrics, non-woven, PP, PU foam. Applications include mat lamination, anti-slip mats, foam bonding and fixation of acoustic sound proof foam of mats.
OIL AND AIR FILTERS.
Particularly Polyamides (PA), Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), and Polyolefins (PO), are offered in the manufacturing of automotive filters, whose characters are a combination of properties like strong bonding, high temperature resistance, and flexibility, making them suitable for bonding filter media, end caps, and frames.
SPECIAL APPLICATIONS.
This includes, sun visor, interior trunk, shock absorbers, car battery lead plate assembly, and assembly of core sand of aluminum cylinder cap. Great cohesion, 80°C tolerable, workable for bonded foam and lining.
