INORGANIC WATER RESISTANCE AGENT FOR HIGH PLASTICITY SOILS

TerraDry is a multi-functional sub-grade organ-siliane water resistance agent that converts high clay or high plasticity materials to be water resistance. Allowing the creation of a stable, sub-base to roads, car-parks and hardstand areas in all weather conditions. This eliminates the need to remove the original soil deposits and having to replace inferior base aggregate materials. TerraDry is also effective as a polymer pavement additive to both increase bond strength and water resistance in the surface of roadways.

EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS

TerraDry is able to treat inferior base materials “in place” turning poor quality, water absorbing sub-grades into hydrophobic, strong, stable material. TerraDry is ideal for use in areas where inferior materials and/or wet conditions exist to stabilize high plasticity soils. This creates an economical option for the construction of sub-grade and base structures for all types of load bearing pavements.

HOW IT WORKS

TerraDry works well on high plasticity soils such as clay, silt and topsoils that are easily affected by water and lack stability. By adding TerraDry it will make these soils repel water and thereby maintain their maximum compaction strength. TerraDry will prevent these soils from being able to reabsorb water permanently. TerraDry does this by filling the soil capillary network thus rendering the structure water repellent.

EASY TO USE

TerraDry is diluted with the required amount of water to reach optimum moisture content, mechanically mixed into the required aggregate depth and compacted to create a stable, waterproof structure. TerraDry negates the need to remove tons of existing inferior material only to be replaced with costly aggregates. TerraDry is a unique and cost effective way of achieving hydrophobicity in kinds of poor
soils, aggregates and substructures.
